Reservation Procedures:
 So you’ve decided to take the plunge? Here’s how you can make your reservation. All you have to do is choose a method most convenient to you. In order to make a reservation for a skydive we require a $50 non-refundable deposit per person payable at the time of your reservation. You may use a credit card or mail in funds to secure your reservation. Groups are encouraged to use one credit card or send in checks in the same envelope to help minimize confusion. If you are putting a deposit down for other people, either collect the money in advance or be sure you will be reimbursed in the event of inclement weather or in the event they decide not to show up the day of the jump. Believe us, it happens all the time!
The deposit is applied toward the price of your jump and the balance is due upon your arrival at the Ocean City Skydiving Center. If you are weathered out the day of your jump or should you not be able to make your scheduled appointment time just give us 48 hours notice and we’ll issue you a voucher good for one year. This voucher is also transferable to any eligible party.

Information you’ll need in order to make your reservation
- Choose a date and time you’d like to make your skydive
- We typically schedule reservations on the hour throughout the entire
day.
- It’s best to have an alternate date or time available in the event your
requested time is already booked.
- For credit card payments, we’ll need the following:
- Name as it appears on the credit card
- Credit Card number and expiration date
- Billing zip code on file with the credit card company
- Number of people in your party
It’s that simple! Although we do accept walk-ins, those with reservations will have priority making your wait time significantly less with a reservation. In the event of questionable weather conditions, phone ahead if you haven’t already heard from us. We’ll give you the option to reschedule if we feel there’s a reasonable chance you won’t be able to jump, especially for those of you driving in for the day. We’ll issue you a voucher for your deposit money good for one year from the date of your reservation. You should give as much ample notice as possible in order to secure your day and time you’d like to jump. It’s not uncommon for us to get fully booked during the months of July and August. As a general guideline, a few days notice for a weekday appointment and one week notice for a weekend appointment should suffice
Arrival at the Skydiving Center and Preparation for your Jump
The Ocean City Skydiving Center is located at 12724 Airport Road. Once you turn down Airport Road, it takes you along the perimeter of the airport approximately 1 mile long. It will eventually lead you into the parking lot of the Main Terminal of the Ocean City Municipal Airport. We are located at the top of the steps in the blue hangar immediately to the right of the Main Terminal.
Please be prompt and arrive at your scheduled reservation time. At this time we will begin the check in process and you can expect to be making your skydive about 1/2 hour to an hour after your scheduled appointment time. On days we are fully booked, a late arrival will typically mean you will not be able to jump or you will have to wait until there’s a break in the schedule. Traffic at the beach on the weekends can be difficult and we suggest you leave ample time to allow for traffic. A late appointment may result in deposit forfeiture.
Friends and family are welcome to join you through the entire process up until boarding the airplane. There are designated observation areas where they can get a front row seat to watch you parachute back to the ground. We have picnic tables outside suitable for a picnic lunch and, in the heat of the summer, the main terminal building offers a lounge type area with air conditioning and large windows to watch you sail back home. Binoculars are a good item to have on hand as you will be about 4,500 feet above at the time your parachute opens.
Sneakers or tennis shoes and light athletic clothing (i.e. shirt & shorts, avoid tank tops or short shorts) are recommended. Try to dress in layers in cooler temperatures. Also, contact lenses rather than glasses are more suitable and provide more comfort if you have the option. Otherwise, if glasses are necessary to enjoy your experience we provide goggles made to fit over your glasses. A jumpsuit is provided if you choose. A hair tie for those of you with long hair is also recommended.

PRIOR TO MAKING YOUR SKYDIVE.
You should try and drink plenty of fluids especially on hot summer days. Also, no all-you-can eat engorgements but put a little something in your stomach before you jump. With the amount of adrenaline surging through your body these preparation tips should give you the most comfortable skydiving experience.
The entire process from beginning to end will vary depending on the size of your group. The check-in process which includes paperwork, a couple of short videos, and your training takes anywhere from a half hour to an hour again depending on the number of people in your group. After that, add on 1/2 hour for every 2 people in your party. Video and photo packages are typically ready approximately 20 minutes after you land. There are times however due to scheduling, impending weather, and other unforeseen circumstances that we may be forced to either ask you to come back at the end of the day or mail it to you the next business day.
Hours of Operation
We start taking reservations on the weekends at 8am and 9am during the week. The latest you can make your reservation will depend on sunset time the particular day you want to jump and the number of people in your party. See sunset times in the Ocean City area. It should be noted limited services are available during off peak months. You should phone ahead if you are interested in jumping during this time frame. The season typically begins in March and winds down sometime in mid-December but will vary depending on weather conditions.
Weather
Several weather conditions will ground us from jumping. We can’t jump in high winds, rain, through clouds, or in fog. Although the spring and fall offer the most picturesque views, it also offers the most unpredictable weather. In the event of unjumpable weather conditions, we will do our best to contact you to let you know we may be delayed due to weather or simply we should reschedule. For those of you driving in from out of town for the day, we will call you the night before or the morning of your scheduled jump if we feel you should consider rescheduling. If you haven’t heard from us and you’ve seen an unfavorable weather forecast for the beach, please call us anytime after 6 am. Payment Methods
We accept VISA, MC, AMEX, Discover, Cash, Money Orders, and Traveler’s Checks. Personal checks are only accepted 14 days prior to your scheduled day to jump.
Refund Policy
Much like when you fly for the airlines, your deposit and full pre-payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you are unable to jump for any reason, we will issue you a voucher good for one year from the date of your reservation and is transferable to any eligible party. Your deposit will be FORFEITED if 48 hours cancellation notice is not given or if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment time. Please keep in mind if you have reserved for a party of 4, for example, and only 3 show up one deposit will be forfeited. Vouchers may be mailed, faxed, or emailed to you. |
